Snowstorm And Presidents Day Result In Schedule Changes For Ridgewood Recycling, Offices
The town of Ridgewood made two announcements about trash pickup and office schedules due to the snowstorm and the upcoming holiday.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The town of Ridgewood has updated its trash and recycling pickup schedules in light of the snowstorm Tuesday, and the upcoming Presidents Day holiday. They also made an announcement about Town Hall.
Regarding the upcoming holiday on Monday, they said:
"All Village offices and departments will be closed on Monday, February 19th in observance of the Presidents' Day holiday. There will be no garbage or recycling pickup, and the Recycling Center will also be closed.

"Please check your Village calendars or your Recycle Coach app because your garbage and recycling pickups will be changed this week, due to the holiday.
"All Village offices and departments will reopen on Tuesday, February 20th, at 8:30 a.m.

"As always, the Police Department, on the Second Floor of Village Hall, will be open on this holiday."
The trash pickup for Area 1 that was postponed during the storm on Tuesday will be conducted this Saturday, Feb. 17 instead, the town said.
