Ridgewood's Parlance Chamber Concerts to Host Concert Oct. 5

Ridgewood’s Parlance Chamber Concerts will host a concert on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 3 p.m. at West Side Presbyterian Church, located at 6 South Monroe in Ridgewood.

Musical selections will include works by Mozart, Bartok and Brahms.

Performers are Minnesota Orchestra’s concertmaster, Erin Keefe, Music Director, Finnish clarinetist Osmo Vänskä, Swiss-born pianist Gilles Vonsattel, the Met’s principal cellist Rafael Figueroa, the French violinist Arnaud Sussmann and violist Hsin-Yun Huang.

The event is the start of a six concert series, all on Sundays at 3 p.m. Other concert dates include Nov. 2, Jan. 4, 2015, Feb. 28, 2015, March 29, 2015 and April 26, 2015.
