Ridgewood's 'Pinot's Palette' Hosting Grand Opening Fundraiser to Benefit National Breast Cancer Foundation and Two Local Charities

The fundraiser will also raise funds for Social Service Association of Ridgewood and Bergen Family Promise.

Pinot’s Palette of Ridgewood, located at 25 Oak St., is hosting its sold-out, grand opening day fundraiser, on Friday, Nov. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m., and will be donating 100 percent of their proceeds to three different charities: The National Breast Cancer Foundation, the Social Service Association of Ridgewood and Bergen Family Promise.

Pinot’s Palette of Ridgewood is also encouraging guests to bring canned goods for the Social Service Association.

Emma Harvey, co-owner to the Ridgewood location, had already worked as an art instructor at a very successful Pinot’s Palette studio in Montclair. She loved the business so much that she decided to open her own franchise with husband Chris Harvey.

“We are overwhelmed by the response to our grand opening event,” Chris said. “We selected these charities because they are important to our guests and play an important role in Ridgewood and the community has responded. This is a chance for everyone to enjoy a good time with family and friends while providing much needed support for very worthwhile causes.”

Since its inception in 2009, the Pinot’s Palette mission has been to bring art to everyone in a fun way. Pinot’s Palette has an extensive painting library of artwork tested for all skill levels, as well as the ability to create paintings with local appeal. Guests can register online to attend two or three-hour painting classes where they recreate the featured painting of the night, guided by a local artist, or they can create their own private event.

Pinot’s Palette of Ridgewood provides the art supplies needed for the class. Public classes are held in a roomy main studio with capacity for up to 40 painters. Guests provide their own wine, beer or non-alcoholic drinks and food. The studio provides wine glasses, corkscrews and ice buckets.
