Sunday Snowfall Expectation Increases For Bergen County: See New Map, Forecast
"The bulk of the snowfall totals will come in two separate batches," the NWS says for Sunday. See the map and forecast.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — After fluctuating forecasts, flakes fluttered in Franklin Lakes and elsewhere Saturday. And more snow is expected throughout Sunday (see the map below).
The National Weather Service released these snow totals for Bergen County for Saturday:
- Franklin Lakes, 3.9 inches
- Northvale, 3.7 inches
- Oradell, 2.2 inches
- River Edge, 2 inches
- Waldwick, 3 inches
- Wallington, 1.8 inches
- Westwood, 2.5 inches
A new winter weather advisory is in effect for Sunday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 2-4 inches may fall in Bergen County, the NWS says.

"The bulk of the snowfall totals will come in two separate batches," the NWS said. "The first will be this morning and mainly for areas north and west of NYC. There will then likely be a brief lull where precipitation gets lighter through the afternoon. Snowfall rates will then pick up again late this afternoon into tonight."
