In Support of Mary Barchetto & Jill Orlich for Glen Rock Council

This coming election, we are happily supporting Mary Barchetto and Jill Orlich for Glen Rock Borough Council.

We have been very impressed with what Mary Barchetto has done since joining the council. She was named Council President in 2021, and is Head of Public Safety, Chair of Community Affairs, Senior Advisory liaison, and a member of the Finance Committee.

During the pandemic, she led initiatives like the Restart Glen Rock campaign that helped reopen downtown and create outdoor eating areas. Her efforts helped lead to the creation of the Borough Senior newsletter, and she has worked on different ways to expand Senior services and programming. She is someone who is always ready to roll up her sleeves and put in the hard work that it takes to get things done.

Ms. Barchetto has made a good choice running with Jill Orlich. Ms. Orlich’s first involvement with public service was through her many terms on the Byrd School HSA board. We have been impressed with how this Harvard-educated attorney has handled her campaign, including her thoughtful answers during the recent debate, and her willingness to hear from residents. Her legal background will also help her hit the ground running on day one.

This election day, we are voting for Mary Barchetto and Jill Orlich for Glen Rock Borough Council, and we hope that you do as well.
