A woman blasts a man who makes derogatory comments towards a bagger at Kilroy's Wonder Market.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — A social experiment set in the borough saw an actor with Down syndrome pose as a bagger at Kilroy’s Wonder Market who falls victim to verbal abuse.

The stunt was featured on “What Would You Do?” a show on ABC that puts strangers in awkward situations and films their reactions.

“Oh man, what genius put the re---d in the express line?” a man buying groceries asks. “They shouldn’t hire these people. They waste everyone’s time.”

“It is my business. Anytime I see anybody being discriminated against,” the customer said. “You're mistreating this young man and you ought to cut it out. You’re not back in here. I’m telling you.”

Other actors pose as impatient customers who ridicule the man for not bagging fast enough.

“What Would You Do?” airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
