Wegman's Opening Bergen County Store Sunday

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Wegman's will open its Montvale store Sunday.

The grand opening is at 7 a.m.

The store will be located at The Shoppes at DePiero Farm at 100 Farm View. The store includes a Market Café with indoor and outdoor seating for nearly 250, as well as The Burger Bar, an in-store restaurant counter that serves burgers, fresh salads, flavorful sandwiches, specialty milkshakes, soup and sides.

A team from the store donated more than 17,000 pounds of food to local food banks: Tri-Boro Food Pantry, Helping Hand Food Pantry, Buddies of NJ Inc., Center for Food Action, and Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

“We know food banks and pantries help build healthier communities. It’s a privilege to partner with these wonderful organizations and provide food that will serve the needs of our neighbors,” said Wegmans Montvale Store Manager Paul Jordan. “One of our company values is to make a difference in every community we serve, and partnering with local food agencies is just one way we deliver on that commitment.”
