Which Bergen County Schools Are Closed, And When Will Blizzard End?

With a state of emergency declared and blizzard looming, which Bergen County schools are closed or delayed? Check the updated list.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — With New Jersey under a blizzard warning until 6 p.m. on Monday, many schools are closed, and others are remote.

Some have made announcements about school board meetings and even referenced possible delays on Tuesday.

Bergen County Community College is among several North Jersey colleges that will close Monday. They announced, "Due to the forecasted impact of a significant winter storm and the State of Emergency in effect, all Bergen Community College locations will be closed on Monday, February 23 beginning at 6 a.m. All classes, events and activities scheduled for Monday are cancelled."

Ramapo College classes will be remote Sunday and Monday, with offices closed Monday.

The National Weather Service updated its estimated snow totals for Bergen County, saying 1-2 inches would fall on Sunday afternoon, another 8-12 at night, and 3-5 on Monday, for a total of 12-19 inches.
