Winter Storm Targets Ridgewood: Latest Snow Forecast, Cancellations, How To Prepare

See the new "Most Likely Snowfall" map for Ridgewood and Bergen County, and cancellations.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Bergen County from 3 a.m. Sunday to 6 p.m. on Monday night.

The latest forecast for Ridgewood calls for snow to start after 7 a.m. Sunday, with 7-11 inches falling during the day, 3-5 more at night, and perhaps another inch before noon Monday. Winds could gust to 30 MPH.

Events are already being canceled in Bergen County, including an Audubon Society presentation for Sunday about nesting birds.

In Ridgewood, the fourth annual AAPI Festival, celebrating the Year of the Horse, has been rescheduled. It will be held at Ridgewood High School on Feb. 22 instead.
