Woman Arrested For Assaulting 2 Men With Knife Outside Bergen County Bar: Police

HACKENSACK, NJ — A Hackensack woman was arrested Friday after she assaulted two men with a knife outside a local bar, police said.

Police said that Cynthia Frank, 21, a food service employee, was arrested on several charges, including aggravated assault.

Police said that on Oct. 27, around 12:10 a.m., police responded to Lenora's Hackensack on a report of a fight with with a knife.

Police found two men, ages 55 and 56, from Englewood and Hackensack respectively, "with non life-threatening injuries after being assaulted with a knife," police said.

One of the men said he'd been assaulted after a dispute with Frank in the parking lot of the establishment.

"The second victim successfully disarmed the suspect but received an injury while doing so," police said. "The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. Officers and EMS rendered aid to the victims, and one victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries."

Soon afterward, Det. Pedro Dominguez located Frank near her home and arrested her without incident.

She was charged with aggravated assault, third degree possession of a weapon, and fourth degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

She was processed and transported to the Bergen County Jail awaiting a first appearance at Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
