14U Oradell Hawks win the Summer Championship!
This Hawks team has the perfect balance of determination, talent & leadership. A good group of kids with the heart & love for the game.
In their championship game on July 28th, the 14U Oradell Hawks beat Westwood 9-5. A very special congratulations from not only the Oradell Little League board, but from the entire town of Oradell. This is a very special championship and exemplifies everything this league has been working on all season. Town awareness, development of our athletes, volunteerism, and most of all... Teamwork. This championship is icing on the cake!
Congratulations to this hardworking group of players and determined coaching staff made up of Michael Mari, John MacDonald and Rue Yamauchi.
Baseball games are never won by 1 individual. It takes are group of players willing to pick each other up during tough outings, and keep the momentum going during winning streaks. The 14U Hawks have the perfect balance to talent, confidence and leadership.
