$3 Million Route 4 Road Resurfacing Project Underway
Work is expected to take three weeks.
RIVER EDGE, N.J. — A $3 million resurfacing project on a five-mile stretch of Route 4 from River Edge to Fort Lee began Monday.
The work is expected to take three weeks, said Kevin Israel, a public information officer with the state Department of Transportation. The east and west sides of the highway will be resurfaced.
Inclement weather and the holidays could delay the work's completion until the spring due to the temperature-sensitive nature of paving.
