RIVER EDGE, NY — The Borough of River Edge is warning residents to expect heavier-than-normal traffic on several dates during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, when matches are being played at MetLife Stadium.
Officials are advising drivers to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and expect congestion on major highways and local roads near the Meadowlands.
