Terry Flynn, 55, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of River Edge, died on August 2, 2011.
Born in Chicago and having grown up in Oregan, he is best known for the six years he spend behind the counter of B&W Bakery, a Hackensack bakery famous for its heavy crumb cake and jelly doughnuts.
Flynn got his first bakery job, washing pots and pans, as a teenager and eventually worked his way up to director of bakery operations for a supermarket chain in the Phoenix area.
He and Ron Kraft opened B&W in the late 1990s.

He is survived by his three children, all in the Phoenix area, four siblings and seven grandchildren.
