Annual Palisades Farmers’ Market Dinner
Twinkling lights, Chinese lanterns, communal tables, and French music wafting in the air, are only a part of the appeal of the annual Palisades Farmers’ Market dinner. A seasonal meal made from ingredients from the farmers’ and vendors takes center stage.
From 7-9 p.m. Saturday, May 10, the Palisades Community Center located at 675 Oak Tree Road in Palisades, NY, will again hold its Farmers’ Market Dinner. Each dish is served a la carte.
Organic greens salad from Blooming Hill Farm, cheese plate from Cooperstown Cheese Company, bread baskets from Balthazar Bakery are just a few of the offerings. Rockland Roots will serve a selection of chicken, fish and a variety of sides. Pies from the Pie Lady & Son, beverages and Fair-trade roasted coffee, cappuccino and espresso from grounded.coffee catering round out the evening’s fare.
New this year, advance sale tickets for the dinner are available: For $20 you receive $25 worth of food tickets. Advance sale tickets for the dinner are available at the Farmers’ Market Saturday between 9:00am and 1:00pm or on-line.
Reservations to the Palisades Farmers’ Market Dinner are appreciated by May 8.
