Help Create Welcome Gift Bags For Soldiers Serving Overseas With Adopt-A-Soldier

Sacred Heart Parishioner, Marie Grieco, is a partner with Adopt-A-Soldier and has been shipping packages monthly to our troops since 2012. Many soldiers and sailors do not receive packages from family and friends and these stockings help to boost morale especially when away from home. She is currently working on welcome gift bags for all the sailors on a navy ship located in the Middle East. The sailors are returning from a much needed respite. She is beginning to collect donations for the upcoming holiday season. Due to slower than normal delivery, she is requesting that donations be made by October 31st to insure our troops receive their stockings on time. Monetary donations, to cover shipping costs, and for the purchase of stocking stuffers, can be left in the military box found in the lobby at the front entrance to Sacred Heart Church, 102 Park Street, Haworth, NJ 07641 (to the right of the inside double doors) or checks can be made out to Marie Grieco.

Please call Marie at 551-804-9838 for more information.

She appreciates the generosity Sacred Heart parishioners have shown in the past. Many thanks for helping Marie and her team help our soldiers experience a little Christmas spirit this holiday season. To learn more about Sacred Heart Church in Haworth, please visit sacredhearthaworth.com/
