Drobnick Cast in Leading Role of Con Musical

Oradell resident Selena Drobnick has been cast as Christine in production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Based on the 1988 film starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine as Freddy Benson and Lawrence Jamieson respectively as two con-men who prey on wealthy tourists and compete for the right to operate exclusively in the resort town of Beaumont-sur-Mer on the French Riviera.

Caught in the middle of the current con is Christine a 25-year-old wide-eyed, innocent tourist who won a soap contest - or so she says.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, with music and lyrics by David Yazbeck and book by Jeffrey Lane runs Fridays and Saturdays, November 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 8pm and Sundays November 6 and 13 at 2pm at the , 10 Durand Road, Maplewood.
