Beehive is a 1960's musical revue featuring the female artists of that time, such as Connie Francis, Patti LaBelle, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Petula Clark, Diana Ross...you get the idea.
6 women - Must be able to sing "in the style of" these stars. Must be able to be "out there" charismatic. No wallflowers allowed. Must be able to hold a part in harmony. Must be able to do rhythmic 60's dancing (the twist, the pony, mashed potatoes, etc.) One of the women shoud be Afro-American.
Prepare a 60's song that highlights the feel of these women. Bring sheet music in the right key(if possible)for the accompanist. Wesr comfortable shoes for a dance audition.
