A Lenten series of adult education/Bible study is being held at the First Congregational Church, 109 Continental Avenue, River Edge, through April 3.
Entitled,"Plenty Good Room," the six-session series is focusing on African-American spirituals and provides an opportunity to reflect on the history and context of the spirituals' origins.
Spirituals to be discussed include "Rock-a-My Soul," "Go Down, Moses," "Balm in Gilead," "Every Time I Feel the Spirit" and "Plenty Good Room."

Each class session is offered three times weekly: Sundays, 8:45 AM; Mondays, 7:30 PM; and Wednesdays at Noon. Rev. Charles Holm is the study leader. For more information contact the Church at 201-261-1712.
