The Bergen County Department of Human Services will sponsor the 11th Annual Multicultural Family Fun Festival to celebrate the Week of the Young Child (WOYC).
This year’s theme is “Early Years Are Learning Years.” The Festival will occur at the Richard Rodda Community Center, 250 Colonial Court, Teaneck, NJ on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Parents and children age 8 and under are encouraged to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Festival will include multicultural dance performances including: African, East Indian, Korean, Latino, and Middle Eastern. The program is interactive and will engage the children and their families. There will be storytelling in Spanish and English, clowns, arts and crafts, and other engaging activities for young children.

WIC Nutrition program enrollment will be available, and the Bergen County Board of Social Services will enroll interested families in the NJ Family Care program. The Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute “Smoke House” will be on hand with demonstrations and information on fire and traffic safety, and the New York Life Insurance Company will provide a Child ID program.
