The Oradell Special Events Committee would like to invite your entire family to come down to Memorial Field located on Prospect Avenue and to Join the Fun to enjoy a great Family Day on Sunday, Oct. 2nd. Starting at 12:30, there will be local food vendors on hand to tickle your taste buds along with ice cold Sam Adams and Coors Lite beer to awaken your appetite. The Boy Scouts will be there to help fill those tummies and local organizations will have fundraising and fun-raising events planned.
For the little ones, bounce rides will be set up, play all day for $10. This year we have a TRAIN RIDE for everyone from toddlers with their parents to our seniors! The adventurous will not be forgotten, the Municipal Drug Alliance along with the Committee will DARE you to the extreme and with our mechanical Dixie Swings and Turbo Tubs! After 3pm, rock out to a concert featuring “I Am Fighting”! Check them out on Facebook and You Tube.
Due to the nature of the event, scheduled entertainment is subject to change. All proceeds raised by the Special Events Committee will go towards future patriotic celebrations and our fireworks displays. The rainout date will be Sunday, October 2.
