On Sunday May 6, 2012 the local chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers will be hosting their Second Annual Bowling for Rhinos bowl-a-thon at Bowler City Lanes in Hackensack from 5-9 P.M.
Registration is $25 per person ages 13 and up, $15 for ages 7-12, and $10 for ages 3-11. Registration includes 2 games of bowling, shoe rental, refreshments, and a door prize ticket. There will also be a tricky tray raffle with prize baskets donated from local businesses.
100% of all proceeds go to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and Action for Cheetahs in Kenya, the International Rhino Foundation, Ujung Kulon National Park and also towards the conservation of the last remaining sumatrin rhinos at the Bukit Barisan Selatan and Way Kambas National Parks.
