On Friday, May 25, 2012 the Library is presenting in the lower level Meeting Room
the fifth installment in its Fourth Fridays film series the film The Godfather
(1972), the epic and operatic saga of an American crime family against which all
mafia films are measured.
The film will be screened at 1 p. m. (one hour earlier than usual) to accommodate
the film’s epic length. This film is presented in conjunction with the lecture by
Tibor Sands (Munkacsi), the first assistant cameraman on The Godfather (1972) and
The Godfather II (1974), on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
