“The Ins and Outs of Living With Diabetes”

It is all too easy to become discouraged and frustrated by the constant effort of managingdiabetes. The Diabetes Foundation, Inc’s free public education program, Living with Diabetes, welcomes Andrew
Kagan, M.D., who will give attendees a surgeon’s perspective on managing diabetic complications. Dr. Kagan willcover causes and cures, as well as answer questions from the audience.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 11th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., at the Paramus Life Safety Building, within the Municipal Complex, Carlough Drive, Paramus.

Dr. Kagan is a former member of the surgical team at Hackensack University Medical Center, but is still quite active in the medical community.

This program is part of the Diabetes Foundation Inc.’s bi-monthly Living with Diabetes Program, providing
free lectures on various topics related to diabetes management and prevention, which are presented by
respected members of the medical community.

Since 1990, the Diabetes Foundation, Inc. has been helping to improve the care and quality of life for people livingwith diabetes. The Foundation serves a population that lives day-to-day with this serious chronic disorder. Proceedsfrom donations benefit programs which include: camp sponsorships for diabetic children, public and professionaleducation, and assistance with medications and supplies to those in serious need of financial assistance.
