WILLIAMS COLLEGE ELIZABETHANS

WILLIAMS COLLEGE  ELIZABETHANS

Renaissance a cappella choir

The Elizabethans, a Renaissance a cappella group from Williams College, will be performing at the
Oradell Library at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 23rd, as a follow up to their many years of stellar
performances at the River Edge Library.

Every year during spring break the nine member group tours New England giving one-hour performances in
full costume.  While they sing mostly Renaissance music, their diverse repertoire consists of secular
and sacred music in many languages from the Middle Ages to present,  including folk songs, ballads and
more.  Dan Kohane, the group's co-director, grew up in River Edge and graduated from Bergen County
Academies.

For more details about the Elizabethans concert  please call the Oradell Library. 201-262-2613

A special invitation is extended to all River Edge residents who have enjoyed their music through the
years and will now be able to see and hear them again at the Oradell Library.
