Fire Breaks Out At Hiram Blauvelt Museum In Oradell

Part of the outside of the building caught on fire, official said.

ORADELL, N.J. — Firefighters extinguished a fire at the Hiram Blauvelt Museum on Kinderkamack Road Monday night.

Fire personnel responded to the museum at 705 Kinderkamack Road for an activated fire alarm. While enroute they dispatch informed them that there was a possible fire there.

A fire had broken out on the outside of the building; the inside of the building filled up with smoke, fire officials said.

Firefighters used water hoses to quickly extinguish the fire, officials said.
