Fox Spotted In Oradell, Police Say
Breaking: Police received several reports of the animal near Woodland Avenue.

ORADELL, NJ — Police have received several reports of a fox near Woodland Avenue.
The DFW and police urge residents to protect their pets, especially small dogs and cats, from foxes. Foxes may be scared away using loud noises or by being harassed, according to the DFW. Unnatural odors, like coyote urine, at fox dens may encourage the animals to move to a more attractive den farther away form yards and houses.
Red and gray foxes live in New Jersey, with the gray being native to the Garden State, the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife (DFW) states on its website.
