I am looking for families who would like to learn to use infant massage with their babies (preferably under 1 year). I am offering the course for free as I need to provide training to parents in order to complete my certification in Infant Massage. The course is 5 weeks and each session is 1 hour in length.
Is you baby "colicky" or have difficulty sleeping or are you just wanting to find a holistic way to best support and bond with your infant? Research on infant massage has shown that infant massage can help your baby's growth and development in a variety of areas.
Infants with special needs, preemies, and chronic illness are welcome.
Each one hour weekly course 10:30-11:30 am will include:
- Infant massage strokes and how each stroke supports your baby's development and overall health
- Parents will learn their baby's distinctive cues for sleep, fussiness, and contentment
- Parents will meet other parents looking for natural ways to interact and bond with their baby
- Parents will learn to soothe their baby using infant massage strokes as an aid in digestion, constipation, and colic.
