Got Extra Candy? Sell it Back

The following dentist's offices will be buying back your extra Halloween candy today

Did you child come home last night with bags of candy? Do you still have some leftover that you didn't get to hand out? Well, rather than eat it all and then feel guilty about having to lose those pounds before Christmas, the following dentist offices in RiverDell will be buying your extra candy back today.

Just bring the candy in a bag down to one of the following offices and receive $1 per pound of new, unopened candy with a limit of five pounds per person.

  1.  is collecting the candy to be sent to Operation Gratitude, an organization that provides care packages to United States military personnel. Children will receive treats and a toothbrush, along with their cash incentive. Children can also look forward to a special guest appearance by George the Monkey.

Halloween Candy Buy Back was started four years ago by Dr. Chris Kammer of the Center for Cosmetic Dentistry of Middleton, Wis. The program is held in conjunction with Operation Gratitude, another national effort that provides care packages for American troops overseas.

Additional dentists in Bergen County that will be participating today are , 22 Madison Avenue Suite 2 in Paramus, State Street Smiles, 405 State Street in Hackenack, and Dumont Dentist, 55 Grant Avenue in Dumont.
