Kinderkamack League just got Interesting!

Oradell Rec's Weichert Realtors won the first round of the Kinderkamack League playoffs Tuesday night in a 13-2 win against a tough River Edge team.

Oradell was 6-4 this season and we're #3 seed going into last night's game. Pitchers TJ Buono and James Monaco allowed only 1 walk combined in 6 innings and Masami Yamauchi hit a Grand Slam. Tim MacRae also came through in the clutch having 2 hits for Oradell. Ultimately though, it's not about 1 individual with this ball club. This group enjoys playing with each other and it was evident last night when they rallied and didn't commit a single error on a tricky DPAC field. As one parent remarked, "This is a pretty special team".

The Semi-final round takes place Thursday night in Westwood. Obviously Weichert Realtors is looking for a win. One game at a time.
