Meet Darlington County Park

Located right on Darlington Avenue right of Route 202, Darlington Park is 178 acres of lakes, beaches, and tranquil bird and wildlife.

Darlington contains three lakes - two for swimming, and one for fishing. The park also includes white sanded beaches, picnic areas, snack bar, playground areas, and tennis and hardball courts.

Hike

Although Darlington isn’t the best for hiking, guests can enjoy walking the park’s roadways and paths. If you’re looking for wet and wild summer fun, Darlington might be your best bet. Children might also enjoy the playground and summer as well.

Camping

For those interested in camping and obtaining a camping permit permits should call (201)-327-3500. 

Wildlife

For bird watching enthusiasts, Darlington Park has a bird and wildlife observation area.

Fees/Permit Pass

During the summer season be expected to pay entrance fees, Swimming is available through Memorial Day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to Bergen County Parks website. More information on Darlington’s swimming rules can be found at the Bergen County Parks website.

However, discount fees are available to Bergen County residents with the purchase of a Bergen County Parks card. Registration for a card can be found on the parks website as well.

Fishing is also available at Darlington Park with a valid license.
