3-Alarm Fire Destroys Oradell Home, Hospitalizes 1: Reports
Firefighters from 8 municipalities responded to the blaze.
ORADELL, NJ — A three-alarm fire destroyed a borough house Wednesday night.
Oradell Police Lt. Richard Zdanowicz said no one died in the fire, NorthJersey.com reported. However, one person was hospitalized with serious burns after an Oradell police officer pulled them from the blaze, Daily Voice reported.
Hudson Yahr, who lives near where the fire occurred on Kinderkamack Road told NorthJersey.com he saw a "few people try to get resuscitated."

Yahr the website he smelled smoke and immediately went to see what was happening.
"I walked passed an inferno,” Yahr said in the NorthJersey.com report. “Literally, five minutes after I smelled it, the house was engulfed."

Fire departments from Oradell, Westwood, Paramus, Haworth, Bergenfield, New Milford, River Edge, and Dumont responded to the three-alarm blaze, Daily Voice reported.
Authorities were investigating what caused the fire Tuesday night.
