Oradell Student Wins Reality-Style Cooking Competition
Sophia Lukac made a peach-mango sorbet without an ice cream maker.

ORADELL, NJ — A borough high school student recently won a college-sponsored cooking competition.
Sophia Lukac took home the top prize Friday at the culminating reality show-style competition of Bergen Community College's two-week long HACKed course.
Lukac and Mira Fish not only showed off their culinary skills — they made a peach-mango sorbet without using an ice cream maker — they did it without their teammate, who could not join them for the competition.
