Panel Will Discuss Gun Violence And Women Saturday In Oradell
Lt. Gov. candidate Sheila Oliver will attend the discussion.

ORADELL, Nj — A special panel discussion entitled Gun Violence is a Women's Issue is Saturday at Oradell Borough Hall from 5 to 7 p.m.
Susanne Fuhrman, founder of Citizen Initiative of Bergen County and a member of the Bergen County Moms Demand Action Group, will moderate the discussion.
Democratic lieutenant governor gubernatorial candidate Sheila Oliver will attend.

The panelists are:
- Dr. Monica Mendez, a sociology and criminal justice expert with an emphasis on intimate partner violence.
- Gervonn Romney Rice, director of volunteer services at the Center for Hope and Safety, a Teaneck councilwoman and a board member of Teaneck Comes Together.
- Kimberly Brusk, a domestic violence and gun violence survivor and advocate and advisory board member for Women Against Gun Violence an co-founder of Women Against the Violence Epidemic.
The Bergen County chapter of Moms Demand Action organized the panel discussion.
