RIVER EDGE, NJ — Drivers in River Edge should plan for another road closure Thursday as Bergen County continues paving operations. Midland Avenue at Fifth Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, <a href="https://local.nixle.com/alert/12754741/?sub_id=0" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">according to</a> a traffic advisory issued Wednesday by River Edge Borough. The closure comes as crews continue paving work at the intersection. The contractor expects to finish the work Thursday, although the borough has not announced an earlier reopening time. Motorists should allow extra travel time and prepare for traffic congestion in the surrounding area.
