Rock Out in Oradell's Memorial Park

Classic rock band Straight Shot is bringing the noise to Oradell's Memorial Park tonight, 8 to 10pm for a summer concert courtesy of the Oradell Recreation Committee. 

A four-piece band, Straight Shot features Don Vierling (guitar/vocals), Jim Gordon (guitar/vocals), Joe Cristiani (bass/vocals) and Tom Walker (drums/vocals) and performs a wide variety of classic rock and current hits as well.

Formed as a duet in 1997 between Vierling and Cristiani, the band expanded in 2007 when Gordon joined and was followed by Walker shortly after that.

Straight Shot's website states that "From Elvis to Sublime, Nat King Cole to John Mayer, each musician's vast experience in many genres of music leads to a diverse repertoire enjoyed by many listeners. With an emphasis on vocals and harmonies, each song is complimented by the talents of the respective band members. Searing guitar solos, pumping bass, and driving rhythm as well as acoustic and a capella arrangements are trademarks of a Straight Shot performance."
