Science workshop for girls on December 5th in Oradell

Girl Scout Gold Award project: a free science and robotics workshop for girls in grades 4-6 on 12/5 from 12-2 PM at Oradell Public School

On December 5th from 12-2 PM at Oradell Public School on MPR “D”, Catie Mooney of Girl Scout Troop 995 in Oradell will host “Smart Girl Saturday” for her Gold Award project.  Girls in grades 4-6 are invited to explore the amazing world of physics through interactive experiments, fun challenges and games.  The River Dell High School STEM Club is also sponsoring the event, and will host a hands-on robotics demonstration.  The goal of the event is to peak and interest in STEM (Science - Technology - Engineering - Math) fields, which are vastly underrepresented by females.  To attend this free event, please RSVP by November 30th to CatieMooneyGoldAward@yahoo.com.
