Service Delayed On Pascack Valley Line After Train Hits Woman
Service was suspended in both directions between River Edge and Secaucus after someone was hit at New Bridge Landing.

RIVER EDGE, NJ — Service on NJ Transit's Pascack Valley rail line was suspended in both directions for more than an hour Wednesday after a woman was struck Wednesday morning.
The woman was struck by Train 1612 at the New Bridge Landing station in River Edge at about 7:55 a.m., NJ Transit spokesman Jim Smith said.
The woman was taken to Hackensack Medical Center with non-life-threatening head and shoulder injuries, Smith said. None of the 750 customers or crew on the train reported any injuries, he said.

The train left Spring Valley, New York and was due to arrive at Hoboken at 8:20 a.m.
NJ Transit buses and private carriers are cross honoring rail tickets and passes, NJ Transit said.
