Twice Rescheduled, Soul Finger Performs Tonight

Bergen County group features River Edge resident Jeanie Marri

The Music in the Park concert that was twice cancelled due to rain now has a new date - Friday, September 2 as a way to celebrate the end of summer. The show will feature Soul Finger and local resident Jeanie Marri in Memorial Park at 7:30pm.

This big horn band has a setlist with over 230 songs ranging from the 1920s to current hits from the likes of Barry White, Earth Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang, Frankie Valli, Bruce Springsteen, Usher, Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, KC and the Sunshine Band, Stevie Wonder, Blondie, The Bangles, David Bowie and so much more.

With energetic renditions  of popular music with soulful ballads, the group creates a one of a kind sound and has over 18 years of expertise at turning a simple celebration into an extraordinary affair.

Along with Marri (vocals), the rest of Soul Finger is comprised of Peter Scance (bass/vocals), JB Lesson (guitar/vocals), Jorge Petruz (drums), Terry (vocals) and Mel Taylor (sax).
