RUMSON, NJ — The Oceanic Free Library in Rumson has released its lineup of children's programs for July, featuring weekly story-times, special events and take-home crafts for young readers and their families.
Registration is required for all in-person programs due to limited space.
The library's Bubbly Babies and Totally Toddlers Storytime is open to children ages 10 months to 3 and half years with a parent or caregiver. Sessions are held on Tuesdays from 10:15 to 10:35 a.m. or 11:15 to 11:35 a.m., with participants asked to register for only one session.
For children in kindergarten and older, the library will host Awesome Activities on Tuesdays from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.
Featured events include a Shark Week celebration on July 7, Yoga Storytime on July 14, a dinosaur-themed program with DinosaursArise! on July 21 and a magic show with Conrad Colon on July 28.
Children can also participate in the library's Take 'N Make Crafts program by picking up craft kits to complete at home. An ice pop craft will be available July 1-14, followed by a sailboat craft from July 15-31.
