RUMSON, NJ — Ghost stories and local legends will take center stage in Rumson this week during a free talk devoted to the community's spookier side.
Greg Caggiano is partnering with RumsonAmerica250 for "Ghosts on the Coast: Haunted Rumson," part of the RumsonAmerica250 Lecture Series.
The free lecture begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bingham Hall, 40 Bingham Avenue.
Caggiano will explore ghosts, haunted houses, cemeteries, true crime and area legends through eight to 10 stories and locations. The program will include a return to the 1877 J.P. Cooper Mansion on Hance Road, which was filmed last year.
"Most will be entirely new material presented for the first time," according to the event announcement. "You won't want to miss this!"
Admission is free to the public. To register, contact the Oceanic Free Library at 732-842-2692.
