Community Conversation on Domestic Violence

The Junior League of Monmouth County’s Community Planning and Advocacy team invites you to join a community conversation about Domestic Violence guided by a team of experts and local professionals including Nicole Morella of the NJ Coalition to End Domestic Violence, Stacy Doumas, MD, Janet Lee of 180 Turning Lives Around, Michele Lefkowitz, Esq. of Partners for Women & Justice, and Laura Greenstone of Amanda’s Easel.

Our panelists will share experience and best practices with the goal of better understanding the signs of domestic violence, its effect on young women and ways to respond.

In lieu of an entrance fee, we will graciously accept animal supplies or monetary donations to support our G.I.R.L.S. Leadership Summit Service Project benefiting the SPCA. Our G.I.R.L.S. Leadership Summit engages a diverse group of young women in our county in a meaningful dialogue to expand their developmental assets, cultivate their leadership skills and empower them to make a difference in their community through civic engagement and the creation of a community project.*****
