Faces of the Rumson-Fair Haven Run

The annual run, postponed once already, due to a impending storm, was a success.

Rain-soaked milestones have been the MO in the Rumson-Fair Haven area this week — and the time-honored Rumson-Fair Haven Run was no exception Friday evening.

Hundreds from all over the area ran the races and gathered at the finish of the 21st run at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School and at Piping Rock Park for a celebratory barbeque.

Patch was there. And, in between the raindrops, captured some people and moments in photos.

Quite a few RFH Class of '78 classmates of the run's namesake, A.J. Bruder, were there, too.

Take a look at the photos above and see if you can pick out A.J.'s buddies. On Monday a story will feature a look back at A.J.'s life and ties to RFH.

In the meantime, get a glimpse into the event through the photos above. RIP A.J.
