Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County hosts 4th annual Golf for Homes event in honor of Peter Bostwick Hilton on September

On September 21, Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County will host its fourth annual Golf for Himes event at the Bella Vista Country Club in Marlboro. This year’s event will be held in memory of Peter Bostwick Hilton of Rumson, a generous steward of our affiliate who passed away last April.

Peter Bostwick Hilton, a lifelong resident of Rumson, made his living as a home builder and master carpenter. A lively and energetic personality, Peter was a beloved member of his community and a dedicated family man.

“We are grateful for the generous support we received on behalf of Peter’s family to our affiliate, we cannot imagine any other way to honor his legacy and personality than hosting this year’s outing in his memory,” said Ray Gabler, executive director, Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County. “We only wish we were able to enjoy the fullness of Peter’s character and his exceptional talents as a master carpenter and unicyclist,” he added.
