Who? Girls, Grades 3-5
What will we do?
INVESTIGATE AND PREPARE: We will spend time getting to know ourselves and one another through a series of games and team-building exercises. We are SHEroes and together we will identify our superpowers and the best way to use our collective power for good. We will also discuss our group’s core values and ways we can make a collective impact.
ACTION: We will attend a training session with the incredible Rachel Alvarez, a specialist in social and emotional learning programs, who will help us identify our sources of strength and how to channel them as a group.
REFLECT: We will reflect on what we learned about ourselves, one another, and the needs of our community. As a result of these reflections, we will choose a focus for our upcoming Make a Difference Days.
