Monmouth Beach Adds 2 Weekends To Extended Beach Season
Lifeguards will be on duty and the Bathing Pavilion will be open on weekends through Sept. 20, according to officials.

MONMOUTH BEACH, NJ – The end of beach season hasn’t come yet, at least if this Jersey Shore beach has anything to say about it.
While Labor Day is typically considered to be the official end to the summer season, residents who were unable to experience the beach in May and June due to pandemic-related capacity regulations will be able to dip their toes in the sand one more time.
Locals will get one last chance to enjoy the seaside air at Monmouth Beach for the next two weekends, when the beach will reopen its Bathing Pavilion and bring in on-duty lifeguards from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 12, 13, 19 and 20.
