Obituary: Jillian Teresa Dinger of Fair Haven

A funeral for Jillian Dinger will be on Wednesday at Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven.

The college student who died as a result of a early on the morning of April 6, will be buried Wednesday. Jillian Teresa Dinger who was a recent graduate of was a freshman this year at SUNY Albany.

Her funeral arrangements are being handled by the , which will hold visitation hours on Tuesday. The funeral home released this obiturary today:

Jillian Teresa Dinger, 19, of Fair Haven, died suddenly on Friday, April 6, 2012. She was a 2011 graduate of Rumson Fair Haven High School. She was a beautiful, sensitive young woman, full of love for children, animals and all in need.  She had many interests: among them creative writing, teaching at the Church of Nativity’s Summer Bible Camp, and playing in the NJ State Youth Orchestra for many years. During summer breaks she worked at and was a member of Sands Beach Club in Sea Bright. She was dearly loved by the children for whom she babysat. Currently, Jillian was enjoying her freshman year at SUNY Albany where she majored in Psychology. She was on the Deans List, earning a 3.8 GPA. Jillian was a communicant of The Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven.

Jillian is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Frances Lipari. She is survived by her parents,  Harry A. Dinger Jr. and Andrea (Lipari) Dinger, sisters, Chelsey Jordan and Gabrielle Victoria both at home, her maternal grandfather, Joseph Lipari of Hopatcong, NJ, paternal grandparents, Harry Sr. and Joan Dinger, of Hackettstown, NJ, uncles, Joseph Dean Lipari and wife Lenore of Bloomfield, NJ, John Dinger and wife Lisa of Baltimore, OH,  Mitchell Dinger and wife Beverly of Mountain Lake, NJ, aunt, Linda Tillou and husband Travis of Bartonsville, PA , great-aunts,  Delia Parasole of Brooklyn, NY and Dawn Yeager Trembler of Phillipsburg, NJ, cousins, Lindsey, Taryn and Avery and her best friend Matthew Clayton of New Paltz, NY.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Church of the Nativity, 180 Ridge Rd., Fair Haven on Wednesday, April 11 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of  flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made in Jillian’s memory to Family Promise c/o .  Please visit Jillian’s memorial Web site.
