Patch Projector: On The Waterfront

The Count Basie Theatre's Free Film Series presents the classic, 1954 film, On The Waterfront.

The Count Basie Theatre is holding its annual Free Film Series presented by Friends of Film, The Film Foundation and The Count Basie Theatre Foundation. The series gives audiences a big screen look at some great old(er) movies in a great old theater. The splendor of the space, a paradise for cinema lovers, presents films in a setting suited to their original showcase.

Writer/activist and Frank Talk impresario Gilda Rogers reviews this week's classic, On The Waterfront, and interviews some fellow Red Bank movie goers about the film, the series and taking risks to do the right thing...oh yeah, and Marlon Brando too.

The year's series concluded on Tuesday with A Face in the Crowd.  For more information about other Basie events, series and educational programs, go to: www.countbasietheatre.org
