R-FH's Coach Fallon Resigns

Fallon will pursue a master's degree

Famed Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School football coach and alumni Shane Fallon has resigned to pursue his master's degree, All Shore Media's Scott Stump reported.

Fallon reportedly told All Shore the news on Thursday afternoon. The former high school quarterback coached at his alma mater from 1998-2012 with 106-51 record, All Shore Media reported.

Named All Shore Media Shore Conference Coach of the Year in 2010, Fallon garnered R-FH its sole NJSIAA sectional title the same year and was recognzied in mid-October as the school's  "winningest" coach in all of the district's history by the R-FH Board of Education.

Under Fallon's leadership, the Bulldogs' 100th win came on Sept. 7, breaking the long-held record of former longtime coach Joe Rosati, who coached the Bulldogs to 99 wins in his time.
