Rumson Country Day School To Host Secondary School Fair

Families can meet representatives from more than 50 day and boarding schools at the free September 28 event.

RUMSON, NJ — Families exploring high school options can meet representatives from more than 50 day and boarding schools at Rumson Country Day School this month.

The school’s Secondary School Fair will run from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, September 28. The free event is open to the public and geared toward seventh- and eighth-grade students and their families.

Visitors can learn about boarding, day, single-sex and faith-based schools in New Jersey and elsewhere in the region. Representatives will be available to discuss academics, admissions, athletics, extracurricular activities and campus life.

“No matter where you are in your high school search, the Secondary School Fair is always a helpful and informative event,” Head of School Carson T. Smith said. “We’re pleased to share this opportunity with the community.”

The fair is also a longstanding part of RCDS’ Secondary School Placement program. The independent nursery-through-eighth-grade school is celebrating its centennial during the 2026-27 academic year.

Visitors may park in the Riker Hall lot at Rumson Country Day School, 35 Bellevue Avenue, and enter through Riker Hall. Families can register online through the school’s fair webpage.
